Dalai Lama Graduate Scholarships – Apply Now
The Dalai Lama Scholarships are scholarships aimed at social leaders from around the world. These scholarships offer a rigorous interdisciplinary program on how to be a different leader, who connects and cares for himself, extends genuine compassion to others and works for our common humanity.
Participants will engage in mind-training practices to increase self-awareness, self-care, and resilience, to connect with others and work across differences, and to build solutions for generations to come.
The scholarships have a duration of one year where, with the support of mentors and coaches, each participant will design and implement an original project.
After graduation, Fellows join the LifeLong community , where they connect and support one another as they continue to advance their leadership journeys.
Participate in the Dalai Lama Scholarships
The requirements to apply for one of these scholarships are as follows:
- Be between 20-35 years of age.
- Experience or interest in learning and doing contemplative practices during the year.
- Fluency in spoken and written English language.
- In-depth knowledge of the community and the issue that the proposed project seeks to work on and address, preferably with more than one year of previous experience working with the community.
- Commitment to participate in our online learning platform, which hosts our year-long curriculum.
- Help change the narrative about leadership and social change through journalism, the arts, photography, film, or other means of communication that complement your social innovation project.
