Fulbright Schuman Scholarships to study in the United States

The Fulbright Schuman Scholarships Program  is aimed at citizens of the European Union who wish to  study, research or teach in the United States .

Scholarships from the Fulbright Commission for Educational Exchange are funded by the United States Department of State and the Directorate General for Education and Culture of the European Commission.

The endowment of the scholarships varies depending on the category of the scholarship, it is usually around 3,000 euros per month . 

To this, is added a travel aid (about 2,000 euros) and also the obtaining of a J-1 visa , as well as illness and accident insurance for each candidate.

The duration of the scholarship also varies depending on the application, currently, for Research and teaching it will be nine months.

To be eligible for one of these scholarships, you must meet the following requirements:

• Be a citizen of a member country of the European Union .
• Have a good level of English.
• Have a minimum of three months experience in two or more EU Member States.
