Red Thread Scholarship Program, a program designed to help kids who are in foster care and who want to go to college, is run by the California Association of Foster Parents.

Red Thread Scholarship Program offers three types of scholarships: Academic Scholarship, Academic Achievement Award, and Athletic Achievement Award.

Program participants can also receive assistance from the Red Thread Mentors. Mentors are volunteers that have done well in school and know what students need to succeed.

Scholarship Description.

The Red Thread Scholarship is for high school seniors in the United States who demonstrate social and academic merit. The Red Thread Scholarship, which is funded by the Samueli Foundation, provides up to $60,000 per year for up to four years of undergraduate study at a four-year college or university within the United States.

The application process for the Red Thread Scholarship will take place electronically from March 1 to April 30, 2023.
