The University of Cambridge, one of the oldest and most prestigious universities in the United Kingdom, offers scholarships to study at Cambridge for international students who wish to continue their postgraduate studies at this university.

The University of Cambridge is the second oldest English-speaking university, after Oxford. According to history, the University of Cambridge, in England, was founded in 1209 by academics who fled from Oxford, after a brawl with agents from that city.

This scholarship program began in October 2000 with a donation of 210 million dollars from the Bill and Melinda Gates Foundation to the University of Cambridge, becoming the largest single donation to a university in the United Kingdom.

To be eligible for one of these scholarships, you must meet the following requirements:

  • Be a citizen of any country outside the UK .
  • Pursue a PhD (three years of research studies only); MSc or MLitt (two years of research studies only); or a one-year postgraduate course (eg MPhil, LLM, MAST, Diploma, MBA, etc).
  • Knowledge of  English language.
