Scholarships to Travel from the Zis Foundation
The Zis Foundation, a German non-profit organization, has published a call for travel scholarships aimed at young people of all nationalities between 16 and 20 years old.
You’ll be on the trip for at least four weeks , meeting new people and deepening your interests. And best of all, you decide where to go! Because this trip is completely yours, you choose the destination you want to meet..
The scholarships offer an endowment of 700 euros to carry out a self-managed study trip to a foreign country.
If you are curious about adventures abroad and want to get to know other countries and people, these Zis Foundation travel scholarships are ideal, you just have to meet the following conditions.

- A topic chosen by the participant must be investigated;
- It starts alone.
- It should last at least four weeks.
- It must include travel to a country other than the country of origin. If you are not from Germany or you have to travel to a German-speaking country or you have to have a subject related to Germany.
- Transportation by plane is not allowed.
- Travel to war regions or violent ethnic conflicts will not be sponsored.
- Each participant has a personal advisor (mentor) to help organize the trip by email.
- Participants will be required to submit a project report (minimum 8000 words), travel diary or alternative documentation.
